Security and compliance are at the heart of Cirrus Shield’s concerns, as they build trust. Cirrus Shield adopts an uncompromising approach on these two subjects.

Data hosted in France

Cirrus Shield’s servers and data are hosted in France (in Roubaix) with the largest national hosting provider: OVH. By relying on OVH’s infrastructures, Cirrus Shield guarantees a level of quality and security for all its users and favors “Made in France”.

Management of profiles and data visibility

Inside Cirrus Shield, you manage access rights to application features (export rights, filter creation rights, read/write/delete rights on modules,…) with profiles, and data visibility with positions and groups.

Profiles allow you to customize your users’ rights: data creation rights, export rights, filtered view creation rights, read/write/delete rights by module… and positions allow you to limit data access by establishing a hierarchy in which any user can see their own data as well as the data of people below them in the hierarchy. Cirrus Shield also allows for the creation of groups to manage matrix organizations, where group members can share data regardless of their position.

Security rules on authentication

Define security rules for passwords, such as validity duration, length and complexity rules, session expiration duration, or forbidden terms.

Connection history

Cirrus Shield tracks all connections made by your users, the date and time of the connection, the IP address, as well as the GPS coordinates. You can thus identify connections made from suspicious locations.

GDPR Compliance

Besides the localization of data and servers (in France), Cirrus Shield allows you to manage all GDPR requirements in full compliance with the regulation (learn more). The data collection forms created with the WordPress extension allow for the implementation of appropriate legal notices as well as a double opt-in process to respect the regulations in countries that require it.
